इंदौर के भागीरथपुरा में दूषित पानी पीने से 6 महीने के बच्चे की मौत हो गई. परिजनों का कहना है कि बच्चे को उल्टी-दस्त की शिकायत थी और इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई. इस घटना ने प्रशासन की कार्यप्रणाली पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं. स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अनुसार, दूषित पानी से अब तक 149 मरीज सामने आ चुके हैं और 7 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव आज पीड़ित परिवार से मिलेंगे.
बच्चे की मां साधना साहू का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है. उन्होंने बताया कि 10 साल की मिन्नतों के बाद उन्हें यह बेटा हुआ था. गर्भावस्था के दौरान मां को बेड रेस्ट पर रहना पड़ा था. मां का कहना है कि इलाके में लंबे समय से गंदा पानी आ रहा था. दूध कम आने की वजह से उन्हें बच्चे को मजबूरी में पानी मिलाकर बाहर का दूध पिलाना पड़ा.
