A few weeks ago I had a little work trip to Pender Island and it barely felt like work at all. A relaxing stay at @woodsonpender / @woodsnordicspa, a bunch of birding and seaside walks, a beautiful wedding day at @thetidescottages with @acrossthewatters, and some forest wandering. This unit can pick a single drum from a pallet of 4, without disturbing the other 3.

Through the Access for All project, staff at Mount Rainier National Park, with support from Washington’s National Park Fund and a wide network of advocates and community partners including Move United (@moveunitedsport), Beneficial Designs, the National Park Foundation (@nationalparkfoundation), and Outdoors for All (@outdoorsforall), are reimagining what accessibility can look like in the outdoors.

From trail assessments to the creation of a new digital accessibility guide, this effort is helping more people of all abilities plan and enjoy their visit to Mount Rainier National Park.
