This Shivir serves as an important brainstorming platform for deliberations on the future of Ayush in strengthening public health systems across the country.

The inaugural session of Chintan Shivir 2026 commenced with the Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Alarmelmangai D., Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush.
In her address, she warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Minister, senior dignitaries, experts, and participants, and emphasized that the Chintan Shivir serves as a significant platform for deliberation, knowledge sharing, and collective action to shape the future direction of the Ayush sector. She highlighted the growing role of Ayush in strengthening healthcare delivery and encouraged stakeholders to actively contribute ideas and solutions for its continued advancement.
She also referred to the “Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana…” shloka from the Bhagavad Gita, underscoring the importance of dedication to duty and collective efforts in translating ideas into meaningful action for the development of the Ayush sector.
