अहलादपुर इलाके के धिमरी गांव में घरों में मुसलमानों को भीख मांगते पाए जाने के बाद गांव वालों ने पुलिस के X हैंडल पर उनकी संदिग्ध गतिविधियों के बारे में शिकायत की।

इज्जत नगर पुलिस ने उनकी भाषा और बोलने के तरीके पर शक होने के बाद तलाशी अभियान चलाया। संदिग्धों ने भीड़ में मिलकर और नमाज़ पढ़कर पुलिस से बचने की कोशिश की। हालांकि, गांव वालों ने उन्हें फिर से देख लिया, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ लिया।

पूछताछ के दौरान, दोनों ने अपनी पहचान शौकत अली और सज्जाद के रूप में बताई, दोनों जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुंछ जिले के रहने वाले हैं।

लोकल इंटेलिजेंस यूनिट (LIU) भी जांच में शामिल हो गई है।
