कुमारगंज क्षेत्र में रहने वाले अमेठी निवासी जगजीत सिंह ने इस अनमोल पांडुलिपि को वर्षों से सहेजकर रखा था. उन्होंने इसे संग्रहालय में संरक्षित करने के लिए औपचारिक अनुरोध किया है. बताया जा रहा है कि यह पांडुलिपि देवनागरी लिपि में हस्तलिखित है और अपनी प्राचीनता के कारण अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण मानी जा रही है. संग्रहालय प्रशासन ने इस पांडुलिपि को गंभीरता से लेते हुए इसकी प्रामाणिकता और ऐतिहासिक महत्व का परीक्षण शुरू कर दिया है.
