Anarana_sutra in soundarya Lanarı, several verses praise Devī's eyes, because Her Grace flows only through Her eyes. Even a slight sidelong glance from Her is powerful enough to bless a devotee.✴️

The 50th śloka again speaks about the beauty of Her eyes. In the previous verse, Her eyes were compared to blue water lilies; here, Śańkarāchārya emphasizes their long, elongated shape, extending all the way toward Her ears a traditional sign of great beauty and auspiciousness. When Devī casts a sidelong glance, Her dark pupils appear like tiny, playful bees.✴️
