Harbhajan Singh के आम आदमी पार्टी छोड़कर बीजेपी में जाने के बाद पंजाब की राजनीति में जबरदस्त उबाल देखने को मिल रहा है। उनके घर के बाहर दीवार पर ‘पंजाब का गद्दार’ लिखकर विरोध जताया गया, वहीं AAP कार्यकर्ता काली पट्टी बांधकर सड़कों पर उतर आए। यह विरोध केवल एक नेता के फैसले के खिलाफ नहीं, बल्कि उस राजनीतिक बदलाव के खिलाफ भी माना जा रहा है, जिसने राज्य की सियासत को हिला दिया है।
पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री Bhagwant Mann ने भी इस पूरे घटनाक्रम पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी है। उन्होंने पार्टी छोड़ने वाले नेताओं को ‘गद्दार’ बताते हुए आरोप लगाया कि बीजेपी डर, लालच और दबाव के जरिए आम आदमी पार्टी को तोड़ने की कोशिश कर रही है। उनका कहना है कि कुछ नेताओं के जाने से न तो पंजाब बदलेगा और न ही पार्टी कमजोर होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि बिना जनता के बीच संघर्ष किए बड़े पद पाने वाले कुछ नेताओं ने निजी स्वार्थ के लिए रास्ता बदल लिया। उन्होंने बीजेपी पर क्षेत्रीय दलों को कमजोर करने की रणनीति अपनाने का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि पंजाब की जनता इस सबको समझ रही है और सही समय पर जवाब देगी।
